The Tools for Change Apprenticeship Program was created to aid community members in educational and technical skills. We have been able to partner with community members such as Central Georgia Technical College, Macon-Bibb Economic Opportunity Council, and various construction companies.
We have over 20 students that have participated and have completed all required safety courses. These students have now been able to progress into the next phase of the program, which is to complete the construction courses and completing hands-on work.
We are tremendously excited about the success of the program thus far and plan to continue with more students in the future.
